Honeysuckle Cottage, along with its sister properties Blackberry Cottage, Clover Cottage and Rose Cottage are part of Tregolls Farm, a working farm set deep in the rolling Cornish countryside. These lovely cottage barn conversions sit in beautifully maintained gardens, including herb gardens for each cottage, with constant birdsong and fantastic country views from every window. Yet they are only four miles from either the delightful river-side town of Wadebridge, with its many boutique shops and excellent eateries, or the main route into the County. Peace and tranquillity is guaranteed whilst you holiday amidst very comfortable surroundings. There are many extras in each cottage, including binoculars thoughtfully left at each window, hand-made patchwork quilts and throws, which just invite you to curl up on the leather sofas in front of the log burner, no matter the time of year! A "Proper Cornish" cream tea awaits each family's arrival, to ensure you feel immediately welcomed to your rural idyll. Every morning at 9.00am Farmer Lester welcomes the younger visitors (of all ages) in the barn for a guided tour of the smaller farm animals who may need to be fed, including pet lambs, baby pygmy goats, chickens and rabbits. There is an outdoor adventure play area for children too, which includes large sit-on tractors and cars to ride, as well as an indoor play area which resembles a play-school and has a Wendy house, rocking horse, pool table and football table. There are also wind-breaks, buckets and spades and crab lines to borrow, so you do not need to bring all those extras that usually fill up the car. Abundant walking begins from the door, as well as great beaches nearby at Rock and Padstow and close by family attractions such as the Camel Trail, or the Eden Project at St Austell, to explore.

Honeysuckle Cottage, as its name implies, is surrounded by fragrant flowers and overlooks its own garden area with gravelled drive parking. It sits apart from its sister cottages and is connected on one side to a farm barn. This 200 year old barn conversion has been sympathetically renovated and has many original features within, including the high vaulted ceiling with ancient beams, exposed stonework walls and the unique windows and doors made to fill the barn openings. The accommodation is reverse level to make the most of the valley and countryside scenery. Four wide wooden steps lead up to the entrance which opens into the open plan living/dining/kitchen areas. This impressive room is immediately welcoming as well as light and airy. Striking, comfortable red leather sofas surround the fireplace with wood-burner, ensuring a cosy welcome all year round. Logs from the farm are available free of charge for the duration of your stay.  The dining area is again set to maximise those country views, whilst you enjoy your meals. The farmhouse style kitchen is well equipped with all essential items for a home from home stay. A central turning staircase with balustrade, leads down to the lower floor. A wide hallway gives access, through another double barn door, to the front garden area. There are two country style bedrooms which offer a double four poster with lovely country views and a further delightful twin room with painted stone walls. There is also a family bathroom. Everyday comfort is further ensured throughout the cottage, with oil fired central heating. Outside there is also a brick built BBQ area for each family to access in the shared gardens. This truly is a unique holiday home where quality and attention to detail will ensure a comfortable and delightful base for all the family to enjoy.
