The lovely sitting / dining room with wood burning stove for cosy cooler evenings features original beams. French doors lead out onto the private and enclosed patio terrace and lawn overlooking the river, a wonderful spot to relax or enjoy al fresco meals. Evoking the character of the barn, a separate cottage style kitchen features beech work surfaces complemented by a Belfast sink. On the first floor an attractive spacious bedroom with stylish ensuite bathroom enjoys fabulous views over the river and surrounding countryside. You are able to walk, pony trek (two and a half miles away) or fish on the half mile stretch of licensed river right on your doorstep. Brendon village just under a mile away has a good village inn and nearby Oare has tearooms and a gift shop. The popular twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth on the coastal edge of Exmoor are just a short four mile drive away and offer a great selection of craft shops, galleries and restaurants.
