Broomhill Manor is a beautiful, privately owned and family run country estate, with 17 stylish cottages and one apartment. Set within extensive gardens and woodlands, Broomhill Manor is approached by its own private, leafy drive, which in turn leads to a large circular lawn in front of the most charming and attractive Georgian Cornish Manor House, where families can play and relax. The well-renowned Victorian gardens and grounds host a profusion of baskets, pots and borders, dripping with colourful flowers, with plenty to admire throughout the year. There are further lower gardens with ponds and thatched summer houses in which to sit and enjoy this idyllic countryside retreat. Bude, with its great family sand and surf beaches and the further North Cornish Coast offering spectacular walks, is only two miles away. Whilst nearby there are a variety of wonderful character villages, hidden coves and further surfing beaches in this most beautiful part of Cornwall, waiting to be explored!

The indoor leisure building is a wonderful facility with tropically heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fitness suite, changing rooms, Spa treatment room and a full size snooker table in the licensed bar area. A terrace opens from the indoor swimming pool and is a perfect place to sit and enjoy the sun! There is an exclusive play room with early learning toys for those aged six and under, as well as a games room for older children with table football, pool table and table tennis. Add to this the heated outdoor swimming pool, all weather tennis courts, trampoline, play areas, fort, sand-pit and archery on the lawn and you will begin to see that there really is no need to move off site once you have arrived and settled into your delightfully furnished cottage holiday home. For the more adventurous Broomhill can arrange surfing lessons, kayaking or coasteering at nearby Bude.
Horses are a star attraction and play a huge part in the life of Broomhill. The large riding stables have a full range of horses and can offer pony rides for anyone aged three years or more. There are lessons available to book, for all ages and abilities, in the Menage, taught by qualified staff. Hacks in the area and beach rides can be organised depending on age and experience and the tide and time of year. Every Friday in the summer a friendly Gymkhana event is held at Broomhill, which may just be the perfect ending to a holiday for many young visitors.
The cottages and apartment have been sympathetically converted from the original Old Cob Barns and Stables keeping much of the original character of the buildings whilst offering fresh contemporary style. Each cottage is bright and attractive and furnished in chic beach style, with nautical stripes, heritage colours and Shaker style kitchens. Some of the cottages offer private gardens with Swedish Hot Tubs, to further enhance your holiday experience. There are also some pet friendly cottages, so no family member needs to be left at home. The cottages are mainly set around small courtyards with linking walk-ways, where no cars are allowed, all adding to the peace and safety of the surroundings. There is however plentiful car-parking in close proximity to the cottages.
The Manor House Apartment at Broomhill Manor, offers elegant and spacious accommodation on the ground and first floor of this beautiful Georgian Cornish Manor House. The setting is truly unique with windows overlooking the manicured lawns and gardens to the front of the Manor House. Access from a private entrance on the ground floor opens into a large vestibule. A staircase rises to a half landing where entry is gained to a twin bedroom. On the first floor there is an open plan living/kitchen area, which also includes a Shaker style galley kitchen. This room has large Georgian windows affording great views of the gardens and grounds. There is a separate dining room which offers sea glimpses towards Bude. There are many character features becoming a property of this style and age with equally spacious bedrooms. The first floor offers a master bedroom with king sized bed and en-suite bathroom, a further twin room, ensuring six adults can be very comfortably accommodated. There is a further family bathroom with power shower over the bath. Guests at Broomhill can certainly enjoy a taste of Manor House living in this lovely apartment.
