Monterey is a beautiful pine lodge built to an extremely high specification and situated in the heart of North Devon in an extremely peaceful location shared with just three other privately owned lodges.  With stunning views across rolling countryside, a 150 acre estate to explore, and your very own outdoor hot tub to relax in, this lovely property is a wonderful choice for those looking for a tranquil, restful holiday away from the pace of everyday life. Contemporarily furnished and stylish throughout, the open plan living room with dining and kitchen areas is light, spacious and comfortable, and has direct access out onto the large decking area and hot tub. The modern kitchen area is very well equipped.  Across the hallway you will find the main bedroom. Tastefully decorated and with an ensuite shower room, this beautiful room has access through patio doors to its own terrace. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are both twin rooms and share the family bathroom.  Monterey Lodge is superbly positioned to enjoy all the delights of North Devon. The world famous village of Clovelly is only a 10 minute drive away, while the award winning beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay and the pretty village of  Instow are all within easy reach. Penstowe Park is just a short drive away, and guests of Monterey Lodge are welcome to use all of the facilities which include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, squash, and badminton. Hartland Golf club, a little closer, also offers a 9 hole course and a lake with bird hide. (Additional charges apply and some facilities are seasonal).  For walkers, Hartland Peninsula is a must with its breathtaking rugged coast-path and for those who like something a little less energetic, why not relax in the hot tub and study the stars in some of the brightest night skies this country can offer. Monterey Lodge has it all.

Accommodation:   Ground floor: Hall. Living room with TV with freeview, DVD, video, and CD player. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Bedroom 1 with Double with ensuite shower room with WC, basin and washer/dryer.  Bedroom 2 with Twin. Bedroom 3 with Twin. Bathroom with bath and fitted shower over bath, WC and basin. For flexible sleeping arrangements if required, the sofa in the living room coverts to a double bed.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Electric CH. Outdoor private Hot tub available from Easter until the end of October on full week bookings only.(Not available for short breaks) Child / dog gate. An assortment of books, games and DVD's. Beach chairs, windbreak, sun umbrella.  Garden furniture. BBQ.  2 pets welcome. No smoking. Parking for two cars approx 30 yds. Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
