Tucked down a country lane in tranquil surroundings on the edge of Exmoor National park and  beside the owners own Georgian Country House, this lovely barn conversion sits alongside its sister property, House Martins, and shares a pretty pebbled courtyard to the front. Slate flooring throughout, wooden doors and exposed stonework all add to the character and charm whilst a wood burning stove ensures cosy evenings at any time of year. The open plan living room with exposed beams has a comfy leather sofa and French doors opening out onto a patio and lawned garden with stunning countryside views.  With cream country style kitchen units complimented by beech worktops the kitchen area is well equipped and also enjoys the far reaching views. The attractively presented bedrooms are located at each end of the barn. One double room, accessed from the living room has French door out onto the patio and benefits from an ensuite shower room. The second spacious double room has an additional single bed, making the property ideal for two couples or giving flexible sleeping arrangements for families, and together with a stylish family bathroom with roll top bath is located off the hallway. Muddiford is well situated to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside yet only a short drive from the fantastic surf and swimming beaches of Woolabcome or Croyde. There are miles of inland or coastal walks to explore and a great local inn and restaurant with an extensive menu just a couple of minutes drive away.
