A delightful barn conversion, this cottage is set amid breathtakingly beautiful Exmoor countryside on a 60-acre traditional sheep and beef farm. With central heating and a wood burner in the dual-aspect living room, the cottage is ideal no matter the season and with a large open-plan living room and good-size bedrooms, the cottage provides ample space for all visitors. An attractive arched door leads from the living room to the fully enclosed shared rear garden and with further garden areas to the front of the property, there is ample space for relaxation, picnics and al fresco dining. Steps lead down to the cosy kitchen/diner which is an ideal place for dining or planning your day over leisurely breakfasts. Three bedrooms and a family bathroom occupy the first floor. A spacious double room with a TV and a twin both have apex ceilings and crossbeams. A second twin room has sloping ceilings and a Velux window offering delightful country views. The owner welcomes visitors to enjoy exploring the farmlands and enjoying the wide-ranging views.

This area is a haven for wildlife including the famous Exmoor deer. Walks along local footpaths and bridleways are close by and the village has a Millenium Green offering circular woodland walks, an enclosed children’s play area and an assault course. As with all our visits to Button Stable / Barn over the years, we use the site to visit family who live in Bratton Fleming. The location is ideal for us to walk to their home. This August visit was more of a holiday and having lived in Devon many years ago, the location is ideal to visit beaches on the North Devon coast as well as 'round the cornerRead more' to Woolacombe / Croyde. There are lots of attractions to cater for all ages within a relatively short car journey. Hide

Button Stable was an amazing place to chill out, relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of town life.... the place was lovely and cozy with the woodburner alight. The property had recently been redecorated and had new kitchen bits and pieces.... the double bed was the comfiest I have slept in, in a very long time... would definitely go againRead more if we were in the area. It was a lovely place and really central to all attractions to visit. Had everything that we needed. Only downside was the mattresses were too hard for all of us, but that would never stop us coming again x

The property was in a peaceful location, just outside the village. Fantastic views of the countryside. The children enjoyed seeing the sheep and lambs. Ideal for a relaxing holiday.
