In an enviable elevated location offering magnificent views out over Woolacombe Bay, this delightful, detached bungalow offers flexible sleeping accommodation making it a great base for families, couples or groups of friends wishing to enjoy a holiday in this popular beach resort. Hit the beach and then return to enjoy magnificent coastal and countryside views through the floor-to-ceiling windows or from the pleasant terrace.

This single-storey property offers a spacious light-filled open-plan living/dining room with large patio doors to capture the far-reaching sea views. These doors open out, extending the living area, onto a delightful patio ideal for relaxing in the sun or enjoying the fabulous sunsets over the bay with a glass of wine. The living area is furnished in a comfortable contemporary style with large leather sofas to ensure cosy evenings at any time of year. The well-equipped kitchen gives access to the enclosed rear patio and lawned garden, ideal for leisurely summer BBQs. There are three bedrooms located off the hallway. The en-suite bedroom at the front has a super-king-size bed and a Juliet balcony offering superb sea views. The double room also has sea views and the twin room overlooks the garden. Both are served by a pristine family bathroom.

Woolacombe is surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are magnificent countryside and coastal walks to be enjoyed with the South West Coast Path easily accessible. Although everything you could wish for on your holiday is close by, there are also great places to visit within a short drive. These include the picturesque harbour at Ilfracombe (6 miles), the splendour of the Exmoor National Park (13 miles) and a further choice of beautiful beaches and picturesque sandy coves such as Croyde ( 6 miles), Saunton Sands (7.5 miles) and Mortehoe (1.5 miles). The characterful village of Braunton and the historic market town of Barnstaple are 7.5 and 14.5 miles away respectively.

This is our second week staying at Oysters. It is a very comfortable, well equipped house with plenty of space indoors and out , and a fantastic view. Parking is easy and the walk down to the shops and beach takes about 10 minutes.

The Oysters is perfect for a family holiday. Clean, comfortable well equipped property, lovely garden and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the amazing view. Great location, just a short walk from the beach and coastal path. Looking forward to a return visit.

This lovely house is in a wonderful position overlooking Woolacombe bay and surrounding countryside.

We had a very enjoyable week at Oysters -there was plenty of room for the 5 adults in our party, The view of the beach from the front of the house is wonderful, the terrace there is a real suntrap. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and there is a good sized fridge/freezer. The beds were all very comfortable. and the showers were gRead moreood with plentiful hot water. Parking is easy. It is a 10 minute walk down to the centre of Woolacoombe from the property and a little longer,as it is uphill ,on the way back! There are steep steps up to the front door which might be an issue for those with young children or mobility problems. Hide
