On the outskirts of North Molton, close to the gateway to Exmoor, this detached former coach house is set completely off the beaten track in a very picturesque part of North Devon. The property is accessed by a long and winding private driveway, and is situated across the courtyard from the owners farmhouse. You can see from the entrance, which opens into the grand hall dining room with vaulted ceiling, beams, open fireplace and large central dining area, that this recently converted barn has an individual style. The open plan first floor living area includes the kitchen, additional dining and comfy sofas around a welcoming unique and ornate solid fuel stove. Floor to ceiling windows reveal lovely countryside views from an elevated position. Light and spacious it is full of character with freestanding kitchen units with beech work surfaces and Butler sink. A utility area and cloakroom lead off the living room at one end with access to the rear garden, and at the other end are two steps to a second snug/TV room with sofa, chairs and solid fuel stove. French doors provide access to the rear patio and lawned garden alongside a small stream. Two attractive bedrooms are on the ground floor both enjoying ensuites with sandstone flooring, the double having an iron bed and unusual arch windows with views, and dressing room. A large courtyard garden sits to the front with a lawned garden to the rear, guests also have use of the owners tennis court by arrangement. Within a few minutes drive of Exmoor National Park and South Molton, there is much to explore in the area and easy access to all routes.
