Jasmine Cottage is a charming semi-detached home featuring an attractive rear garden situated in the pretty village of North Molton and just bordering the Exmoor National Park. Formally a royal manor, the village has an impressive local church with a massive one hundred foot high tower, a small post office and bakery and with the convenience of the town of South Molton just a short drive away. The entrance hall leads to a spacious character living room with recessed alcoves and large original beam which help to create a true country feel. Three comfy sofas surround the stone inglenook fireplace, which has a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. A separate dining room has a quarry tiled floor, and an original range housed in the chimney breast adds to the charm. Two steps take you down to the kitchen, attractively fitted in cream and with an unusual red brick floor. Adjacent to the kitchen the utility/cloakroom provides handy storage for those walking boots! The central staircase rises up to a small landing from where three more steps either side lead up to the two bedrooms and separate Victorian styled bathroom with roll top bath. Both bedrooms are presented in soft neutral tones and have country pine furniture. The double bedroom which enjoys far reaching country views has a shower room, with shower only, discreetly concealed behind a natural pine door and the twin room features a decorative fireplace. Attached to the cottage and accessed from the gravelled patio area is a very useful garden room.
