Marigold Cottage is in an extremely enviable location just to the edge of this coastal village and takes full advantage in its slightly elevated position of the magnificent views over Croyde Bay, the sea and the beach. The entrance to Croyde beach is only a couple of hundred metres away and for those who enjoy the many water sports in the area there is a convenient warm outside shower to the rear of the house and a shed for the storage of wet suits and surfboards. The spacious entrance hallway with French doors opens into the delightful double aspect living room, with superb views of the bay, comfortable sofas and cosy woodburning stove with a plentiful supply of logs provided. From here French doors open out on to the wonderful large sun deck. There is a superb kitchen/breakfast room with slate and wooden floor and an excellent range of stainless steel worktops with contemporary blue units. Located adjacent to the kitchen is a utility room and separate shower room. Five bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements, three of which are situated on the ground floor. The two first floor bedrooms have breathtaking views and the master bedroom has an ensuite, whilst the other room is more ideal for children with plenty of games and toys. The upstairs family bathroom in white features a roll top bath with claw and ball feet. With the benefit of the large decked terrace to the front, al fresco meals can be enjoyed on balmy summer nights as the sun sets. There is ample space for children to play on the large level and secure lawn.
