Our Letting Agreement...
A user-friendly Letting Agreement...
We ask our holiday cottage homeowners to sign a simple and user-friendly Letting Agreement which sets out each of our obligations and details the financial agreement between us. The terms of the Letting Agreement usually apply for one year (depending when it is signed) but we are happy to discuss a range of options to take account of any need for greater flexibility.
The Letting Agreement appoints Marsdens Cottage Holidays as the homeowners sole agent we have found that this is the best way to avoid the risk of double-bookings which would disappoint customers and damage our reputation for service and efficiency.
No restrictions on the length of your own holiday...
You can, however, make your holiday cottage unavailable for letting so you may enjoy it yourself and unlike many of our competitors, we place no restrictions on the number of Homeowner Weeks which are booked between October and April, and just a four-week limit between May and September. All we ask is that you give us as much notice as possible of the dates on which youd like to use your property, so we can mark it as unavailable for letting on our booking system.

It is essential that we view any prospective holiday property as early as possible even if youre undertaking work which is not yet complete so that we can offer advice on the type of facilities our customers are looking for. We may not be able to agree a letting price band at this time, but are normally able to suggest an estimate of the return you would expect to receive. We give our time and advice freely these visits are made at no cost to you.
