The much heralded surf bus is back on the roads of North Devon tomorrow, as the surf season gets into full swing.

Easily identified by its bright colouring, the double decker is to stop off at all the best beaches in the region on its route, including the likes of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton.

Not only does it provide cheap and affordable transport, the bus also boasts substantial storage facilities, enabling surfers, cyclers and walkers the opportunity to bring on board their bikes, long and short surfboards, kayaks and any other relevant equipment.

Its main route runs from Woolacombe to Barnstaple via Croyde and back, meaning visitors can also take in some of the county’s famous market towns.

An important and useful addition to the county’s booming tourism sector, be sure to take advantage of the service whilst enjoying a stay in one of the stunning Devon cottages, the perfect base for a relaxing British vacation.
