The tunnels beaches in Ilfracombe is quite unique and a memorial to Victorian ingenuity and passion for "sea-bathing" as a health remedy. Kids of all ages will enjoy exploring both the tidal pool and adjacent rock pools, as well as making sand castles or swimming in the sea. Woolacombe beach is so well known for its miles of golden sands and access to some great surf. Surfing lessons are available on site for any age, so you can soon be catching the waves yourself or admiring those who make it seem so easy.
