So much to do in Devon for half-term!

Published: Wednesday 2nd Oct 2013

Want to wear the kids out this half term? Well you’ve come to the right place! Devon is bursting with exciting things to do during the half term weeks.  The BIG Sheep will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and they are promising to host the best ever Halloween fun, with a very spookey scary side including the witches flying school, pumpkin carving, fancy dress, face painting and the scary by night festival.  All the fun will be going on between 26th October – 2nd November – so don’t miss out!

There is also the Spooky Halloween Tour at Arlington Court on 30th October and 1st November between 19.00 – 20.00 …but are you sure you are brave enough?!  And something for the little ones – Pepper Pig will be gracing us with her presence at Atlantic Village in Westward Ho! on 30th October, so don’t forget to pop along and say hi, perhaps a good opportunity for Mum and Dad to start the Christmas shopping too?!

For the more adventurous why not try surfing (the sea is still warm – I promise!) or a big hike on one of the many stunning coastal paths?  The Tarka Trail is perfect for family cycling outings; pack up a picnic and explore the miles of beautiful countryside.

Not forgetting couples; we have plenty of romantic cosy cottages with log burning fires, hot tubs and sea views so why not treat each other to a special break away in the beautiful West Country - where we are famous for our delicious local produce, breath taking beach walks and that must have Devonshire cream tea!

We have some wonderful properties still available for the half term weeks between 18th October – 1st November, check out our Special Offers page or don’t hesitate to contact one of our friendly and helpful Reservations team members on 01271 813777 and book your half term break today!
