Fundraising and having fun

If you spotted sheep from Maaaarsdens frolicking around Croyde yesterday, you were not hallucinating in the sun!
We were delighted to be the main sponsor of the Croyde Scrumptious Trail - a 10 mile walk organised by Over and Above, an independent charity which supports the work of the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust.
The theme was "Farming", so our team of four was dressed as sheep farmers and sheep from Maaaaarsdens (sorry!) and we skipped our way through Croyde, Saunton Sands, Georgeham and Putborough sampling truly scrumptious local produce. We had yoghurt and granola, ice cream, stout, gin, lemonade, soup, scones, trout pate on sour bread, honey and chutney on crackers, strawberrys and meringue and curry wraps - and went home weighing more than at the start!
What a great day, for a great cause! We'll be there again next year!
