Unsure of where to head on your next break? Need some inspiration?

Thanks to our team, we have created our ‘Holiday Inspiration for Two’, with all the things that North Devon has to offer as a holiday destination for couples.

However you like to spend your holiday, there is something for everyone to enjoy in this stunning region, but here are just 5 of our favourites:

1. Hire a bike

North Devon has some fantastic cycle trails, so why not hire a bike and explore the area at your leisure. Our favourite route is the Tarka Trail (the country’s longest traffic-free cycle and walking trail) which runs alongside the Torridge and Taw estuary.

2. Upcoming events

If you don’t know when you’d like to holiday in North Devon, why not head over to our upcoming events page to keep up to date with what’s on and tie in your holiday with an event that you think you might like to attend?

3. Explore the area from the water

With North Devon a popular hotspot for watersport enthusiasts, if you fancy trying something new, this is a great place to do exactly that. From kayaking and sailing to surfing and coasteering, there is something to float everybody’s boat.

4. Try GeoCaching

Geocaching is a great way to add an element of fun into your walks and discover hidden secrets that you may otherwise miss. It’s basically a treasure hunt with a GPS to locate hidden containers. Geocaching is a growing trend worldwide and there are over 25,000 caches in Devon alone!

5. Walking

Don’t forget to pack your walking boots so you can take a stroll along the many miles of South West Coast Path whilst admiring the dramatic scenry.
