This cute dog-friendly cottage is situated in the quaint and colourful fishing village of Appledore in a prime spot for a peaceful seaside holiday. You only need to step outside the front door for a taste of the fresh North Devon sea air as this property sits on the picturesque seafront. Light the BBQ and soak up the summer sun with friends and family in the cottage's rear courtyard or stave off the winter chill in front of the cosy wood burner in the lounge.
Inside the cottage, the soft pastel marine tones create a beach hut feel and serve as a real reminder that you are staying at the seaside. The large, original windows at the front of the property draw in plenty of natural light, giving the whole house a bright and airy ambience. A contemporary kitchen joins onto the dining room offering more than enough space to cook and even more to serve up dinner. Cottage-style stairs lead you upstairs where you will be greeted by three bedrooms split across the upper two floors, two of which offer the most magnificent sea and estuary views.
Across the estuary is the neighbouring beachside village of Instow, a dog walking haven that is a 6-mile drive or a short ferry ride away. Alternatively, the famous surfing beach of Westward Ho! can be found 3 miles southwest. Fancy an extended walk? Then join the South West Coast Path, accessible from right outside your door. However, if you want to stay within the realms of the village then you can tuck into some delicious pub grub as little as 300 metres down the road.
