This gorgeous contemporary coastal apartment, just half a mile from the beach at Westward Ho!, is a wonderful location for guests who want to explore not only the stunning North Devon and Cornwall coastline, but also some of the area’s prettiest harbourside fishing villages and towns. Unforgettable days at the beach are most definitely on the menu here, as are delicious fish and chips that can be enjoyed on the green overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Decorated in coastal colours with light floorboards and sandy hues, the property brings the sea to life with colourful nautical touches and delightful reminders of the nearby shore. A tiled balcony area leading from the open-plan living space is just the place to step out first thing in the morning to welcome in the new day and a lovely location to enjoy a sundowner as the sun slips into the sea in the distance.

Stroll down to the South West Coast Path which you can pick up at the beach and Northam Burrows Country Park or walk through the town to take the path south from The Pier House. Westward Ho! itself has a lovely selection of shops, cafes and restaurants as well as tennis courts, horse riding and a golf course. Visit the narrow, cobbled streets of Clovelly, 13 miles away and take the ferry across to Instow from the charming harbour village of Appledore, just a 3-mile drive from the apartment.

We had a lovely week at Surf Bay, the apartment was lovely and clean, well equipped and comfortable, would definitely stay there again.
