Stylishly furnished and decorated in cool, peaceful shades throughout, this light and relaxing ground-floor property is a lovely holiday home for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers following a superb stretch of the South West Coast Path.

The cottage features a delightful and cosy lounge/diner. With a TV/DVD, flame effect electric fire and plenty of snug seating, the lounge is a lovely room for a relaxing evening with a good book or movie. The dining area makes a great space for sharing a romantic meal for two, which you can enjoy cooking in the light and fully equipped kitchen which also has a handy breakfast bar. Exploring the property further, the pretty double bedroom has a view over the garden, and there’s also a sleek and stylish bathroom with a pair of his and her sinks, with robes, slippers and a selection of toiletries provided. Heading outside, the enclosed garden is a private and spacious area with a lawn, patio, plenty of outdoor furniture and a BBQ, perfect for relaxing with al fresco drinks on a sunny afternoon.

Keen walkers can explore this stunning area, with local landmarks including Hawker’s Hut (3.5 miles) and Lower Sharpnose Point (5 miles) along the beautiful Hartland Heritage Coast. Kilkhampton (3.5 miles) is a picturesque village with some great places to eat and drink, with the thriving seaside town of Bude a little further on (9 miles), offering a range of leisure facilities and golden beaches.

Perfect place to stay in a quiet country lane setting with plenty to do locally. Directions along with satnav were spot on. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed, and more. There was an amazing welcome gift and Karin gave great recommendations for places to eat and to visit. The garden was lovely and our dogs enjoyed exploring it.

This is one of the best holiday bases you could possibly want. The cottage is spacious and immaculate. It is in a peaceful and tranquil rural setting., yet close to a main road giving easy access to the Hartland peninsula, Bude, Bideford, Barnstaple etc. The welcome pack was the best we have ever seen.

A wonderful place to stay! Cottage very clean,perfect location for walking our dogs and very easy access to site sightseeing in Cornwall and Devon. The annex was clean and well equipped, kitchen a bit cluttered, the welcome foods etc were amazing. The property is very remote & walking dogs meant a trip in the car each time. The garden is not enclosed so this was another issue with the dogs. There were several take aways in a nearby village, however there are no delivery options to the propertyRead more, so again the car is needed. Lovely place to stay to unwind and relax, the owners give you such a nice welcome and the welcome food pack is out of this world. Would recommend anyone to stay here as a great place and not far from Bude or for quiet walks on the doorstep. We had a great New Year break here to relax and even the dog slept loads!

This place came supplied with so many extras that we are not used to. Tea, milk, eggs, wine, scones, cream, jam and so many other things were left for us. We even found that there were 2 brand new tooth brushes still in their packets in the bathroom should you forget yours......great little touches.
