Cosy and comfortable in a contemporary setting, the two-level apartment is an opportunity to relax by the sea from an elevated position or down by the beach, under a mile away from the property. Wake up to the sound of the waves lapping against sea wall before heading to one of the apartment’s three balconies, to soak up some morning sun before venturing out into the town of Westward Ho!

Whether you’re watching the tide through the floor to ceiling windows or you’ve popped down along the South West Coast Path to the 2-mile long stretch of beach, you’re never too far from the ocean here. The huge windows in the lounge area make for a light social space, making it perfect for unwinding in on summer evenings. Cook up a storm in the stylish kitchen, serving up on the breakfast bar for a casual bite, or enjoy a sit-down meal at the large dining table. When it’s time for bed, you can enjoy the sound of distant crashing waves from the balconies accessed from both bedrooms.

Walk half a mile to the South West Coast Path to the sandy beach and the wild Northam Burrows Country Park. The more adventurous have opportunities to surf the waves after a lesson a the North Devon Surf School. For a change of scenery, visit fishing village Appledore where you can discover its shipbuilding history at the North Devon Maritime Museum (3miles).

Enjoyed our week at the Balcony apartment. Warm and welcoming. Balcony good for relaxing, wrapped in blankets in November. Wonderful views. Shower in bathroom not easy for the less nimble. Reserved car parking just outside was a great convenience. Pleasant walks along the prom from the apartment which is very central for shops and restaurants. This property is amazing we couldnt have asked for a better place to stay, three balconies, we were spoilt! We would recommend this property to anyone, it is really comfortable, well looked after and great value for money.

This was our fourth visit and its views and position in Westward Ho make it perfect. The housekeeper is great and contacted us with an earlier arrival time, which was great.

The apartment was beautifully clean and the communication from the housekeeper was brilliant. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The bedroom is beautiful, a very large super comfy bed. The bed linen is spotlessly clean. The location is perfect and the views are stunning. I look forward to returning.

Fantastic accommodation, views to die for. Everything we needed was right there. They have thought of everything even buckets and spades kites windbreak everything. Because we have teenagers there wasnt a great deal to do for us. But we did lots of reading books and relaxing. One tip look In the book it has places to go I found it on the last day. This was our second stay at this wonderful property and definitely wont be our last. The view is just lovely and I adore sitting on the balcony watching the tide come in. Lovely apartment over two floors - stunning sea views from floor to ceiling windows. Fabulous 75 inch Tv in lounge and TVs both bedrooms. Rosie the housekeeper was very helpful. Would recommend The Guillimot Beach Diner - excellent food and staff, new owners. The girls were great. Our dog allowed in there too. Highly recommend.

The views from The Balcony are second to none and is why we chose this property and they did not let us down. The bed was super comfy as was the sofa...such a relaxing place... Very comfortable property that is well equipped, light and airy with absolutely cracking sea views. Weve been going to Westward Ho! for many years and this has the best view with easy access to all the shops. Stairs (two flights to lounge and kitchen, one flight to bedrooms ) would need to be a consideration for anyone with respiratory or mobility Read moredifficulties. Impressive apartment but unfortunately not very clean.Panoramic views ruined as windows were so dirty inside and out (they were cleaned on request) Mould issues in bathroom and shower .External doors upstairs wouldnt lock.Housekeeper was very helpful but for the price ,the state of the apartment wasnt value for money.Apologies for being so negativeRead more but I think unless the rating is reduced -it needs an urgent upgrade ! Fabulous location, right in the middle of the shops, restaurants & bars but with the ocean right outside your windows. Spectacular at high tide! Very clean, well equipped accommodation.

What a great 2 floor apartment. Very clean thank you to Rosie. Top quality equipment ie Bosch, SMEG.
