Overlooking the picturesque harbour in the charming seaside town of Brixham, this traditional former fisherman’s cottage has been thoughtfully updated to create a stylish holiday home for a group of up to six guests. Within easy reach are a choice of great shops, pubs and restaurants, and an array of wonderful beaches. Situated on the English Riviera, and lying across the breathtaking bay from Torquay, this beautiful property makes a fantastic base for exploring the south of Devon, with the dramatic scenery of Dartmoor National Park just 16 miles away.

The owners of this light and inviting property have thoughtfully modernised and updated it, while still retaining its cosy and welcoming character. Set over four floors, with a comfortable bedroom on each of the three upper levels, this delightful property features charming seaside touches which remain in keeping with the property’s heritage. Most of the rooms offer stunning panoramic views over the harbour, and there’s also a fantastic south-facing sun deck located off the dining room on the lower ground floor, which is a great outdoor space ideal for al fresco dining and watching boats bob by the harbour.

Brixham is the perfect destination for holidaymakers, with its bustling harbour offering boat trips, fabulous eateries, great shops, and a life-size replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship The Golden Hind. There are at least five beaches within a couple of miles of the property, including Fishcombe Cove, Shoalstone Beach, Elberry Cove and Breakwater Beach, which lies at the mouth of Brixham Harbour. The neighbouring towns of Paignton (6 miles) and Torquay (9 miles) are equally inviting to visitors, Paignton with its steam railway and zoo, and Torquay with its sandy beaches.

Spent a wonderful 4 nights in June here. The location is perfect - harbour views and a lovely terrace to enjoy. The house is so well equipped, although no hairdryer - but youre in Devon so hey ho!! Really comfortable beds, and great to have parking spaces too. Would highly recommend.

Cottage is lovely, beds are very comfy and gave a good night's sleep. Kitchen is lovely with everything you need. Views are amazing which added to the lovely evenings just chilling out on the decking area. We spent many evenings just sitting and enjoying the gentle breeze with a cool glass of wine or beer before heading off to bed.

The house was spectacular with amazing views. It was very comfortable and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Newly installed kitchen was lovely. The parking was about a 5 minute walk up and down a hill. Although there a lovely park with Seaview to have little break along the way. Brixham harbour is about 5 minute walk down two sets if stairs, we did fiRead morend walking along the road after the first set steps was a little easier on the legs on the way back up. Would highly recommend this property. Hide
