A beautiful bolthole in bustling Brixham, enjoy drinks on your own private balcony with a spectacular view of colourful houses and boats bobbing on the sea. Leave the French doors open into the lounge and let the ocean breeze fill the room while you take some time to read, cook or just relax. This delightful home is a brilliant base for exploring Devon’s southern coast, with its array of beaches, famous seafood and fascinating history.
It's been designed in a reverse-level style so you can dine and chill out with a sea view as your backdrop in the open-plan living/dining/kitchen space. Complimenting its waterside position, this cottage has pops of blue colour and local photography throughout. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating which is a welcome feature in the colder months, and one has a bath for you to indulge in after a day of exploring. The balcony is the perfect spot to reflect and watch the world go by whatever the weather.
Brixham and its surrounding area is packed with free walks, trails, beaches, galleries and museums. Take your pick from a multitude of nearby beaches, including Breakwater - situated at the mouth of Brixham Harbour, it is one of the ‘go-to’ beaches for beauty in the English Riviera. Avoid the crowds and take a short trip outside of Brixham to Elberry Cove, a small pebble beach at an inlet, well out of the way from the busier town beaches. For a breath of fresh air and a wander, visit the Berry Head Nature Reserve on the north side of Brixham, within walking distance of the town centre. The House of Marbles, Geoplay Park and Babbacombe Model Village are also nearby.
