Set in acres of farmland deep in the Devon countryside, this tranquil property is an ideal place for families and groups of friends to stay. Quiet and peaceful, guests will enjoy privacy and seclusion while still being only 2 miles from the town of Okehampton with its plethora of shops, restaurants and pubs. Wake up refreshed thanks to the countryside air and head out to the garden with your morning coffee, soaking up the stunning views of lush green fields and trees.

Whether you’re unwinding in the main lounge in front of the wood burner with beautiful exposed beams or having your favourite meal in the huge dining room, it won’t be hard to relax here. The calming neutrals of the property make it a tranquil place to spend a holiday without the distractions of busy life. Period features such as the ornamental fireplaces in the bedrooms remind you of the history behind this pretty farmhouse. Make sure you head over to the games barn to play one of the many games including a pool table and table tennis, or take advantage of the large lawns that are perfect for a kickabout or cricket.

Take a quick drive to Meldon Reservoir (2 miles) for a walk that is great for dogs, or make the longer journey to Roadford Lake (14 miles) that is also good for fishing. If you prefer cycling, ride the 11-mile Granite Cycle Way, which runs straight through the middle of the farm from Okehampton Station (3 miles) to Lydford. Kids will love exploring the nooks and crannies at Lydford Gorge (9 miles), and the adrenalin junkies among you will delight in the rides at Crealy Adventure Park (35 miles).

The house was like a home from home. It had anything you could possibly want. Walks near to the house which were perfect and in close distance to nice villages with independent shops. This is our 3rd stay here and we will definitely be returning again.

The property was spacious yet cosy. The large lawned area away from the road, to us was a real bonus, as it meant the kids could safely play ball games. They made good use of this area on most of the seven days we stayed there.

We visited Estrayer Park Farm as a party of 12 for a hiking weekend. The cottage was very spacious and comfortably allowed all of us to have our own space as well as commune in the dining room. Great kitchen facilities & storage. Ideal for hikers. The porchway allowed for boots to be stored to stop any mess from going inside the house. Ideal accommodation to suit extended family of 12, ages ranging from baby to pensioner, new year weather not good enough to use outside space, but lovely big dining room, lounge and piano room gots lots of use.

Fantastic cottage in the heart of Dartmoor, we booked it for a family Christmas together all ages and it was perfect!!! Plenty of space, and walking into the gorgeous dining room seeing a real Christmas tree all lit up was perfect :) games room was great for the kids too :)

We absolutely loved this place. It's warm, cosy, and a lovely space to be in. Plenty of room for a group of 10 and we especially loved the huge dining table which meant we weren't cramped at meal times. It's a shame there isn't a footpath onto the moor from the front door but other than that we wouldn't change a thing.

Overall good value for money. However the description is little bit misleading/old. The games barn don't have ping-pong table, one of the pool tables was broken, no other games provided. Both TVs in the lounges not working. Shower in the king room was very poor, missing washers and loosing all power. No wood provided. Poor BBQ facility.
