Located in the heart of the English Riviera, just a short walk from Brixham harbour, this three-storey coastal home offers a relaxing South Devon escape. The best attractions in the area are all within easy reach, making it a fantastic boltole for exploring too.
The property was newly refurbished in 2018, neutrally furnished with wooden accents for a cosy cottage feel. The open-plan lounge/diner is the perfect space for a cosy night in after a long day of exploring; on cooler evenings, fire up the wood burner and snuggle up on the sofa in front of a film. Upstairs on the first and second floor, you will find light and airy bedrooms with plenty of room for the family to unwind, while outside an enclosed garden is a great spot for everyone to enjoy on summer nights.
Brixham has a long-standing maritime history, and so the harbour remains at the heart of the town. From here, head out on a relaxing boat tour of Torbay, or catch the night’s dinner on an accompanied fishing trip. There’s a regular service across the bay to the resort town of Torquay too (8.5 miles by road). For a fun family day out, visit Paignton Zoo (5.5 miles) or Living Coasts (9 miles), or climb aboard the wonderful steam railway which runs through the Dart Valley. And of course, no visit to Devon is complete without a trip to the beach, so head to St. Mary’s Bay (0.7 miles), Fishcombe Cove or Breakwater Beach (both 1.5 miles) - three of Brixham’s very best.
