This beautifully decorated property located close to the beach in Westward Ho! is not to be missed. Offering spectacular views from the comfort of the sofa, as well as its enclosed outdoor patio area, you'll always feel close to the beach. Surfing, walking, and amusement arcades all await you down on the beach so make use of the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading out for the day.

This property has been decorated throughout with a mix of neutral tones and wooden flooring, making it light and inviting. The upstairs shower room is luxurious with its high ceilings, large walk-in shower and his and hers sinks. This property also has a handy downstairs shower room and the addition of an outside shower to wash down at the end of a day on the beach. The kitchen is not short of amenities and has plenty of space to prepare a family meal, so why not take in the sunset from the patio and enjoy some al fresco dining. Conclude the evening by snuggling on the sofas watching the TV with some buttery popcorn.

Westward Ho! itself has a range of activities to get involved in, from golf and go-karting to lovely scenic walks along the South West Coastal Path which provide stunning views out towards Lundy Island. From the nearby town of Bideford, just 3.5 miles away, you can catch a day ferry out to the car-free island famous for its puffins. The island is no longer than 3 miles in length but offers stunning scenery, wildlife and plenty of history for you to explore.

We had a problem with the CH boiler not working properly which hadn't been resolved by the time we left which spoilt our stay there. The cottage was lovely throughout though its a bit of a hike uphill to it but at the age of 70+ years I managed it. Great views of the beach and sea from top bedroom and some lovely sunsets.

Lovely warm comfortable place! Quiet neighbourhood, and super views of beach. Great sunroom and well-stocked kitchen. No WiFi. Beautiful wood flooring, great bathroom, especially shower! Second bedroom small, though main bedroom large & stately!

The cottage was lovely, it was clean, comfy and well stocked. We found the walk to and from town a bit of a struggle due to the steep paths (but we were aware of that before we went) and we are both retired!

Lovely stay 2 adults and 1 dog. Clean spacious accommodation 10 min walk from westward ho! This is down some steps but they are not that steep. My 76 year old mother in law coped fine with them Plenty of places to visit we went to Bude, Clovelly, Woolacombe all within 40 mins drive. We cooked in the accommodation and were pleased with large fridge Read morefreezer and good cooker/oven. Parking space for 1 car right next to the property. Stunning house very clean everything you need in the property stunning views from the bedroom . Short walk to the town down a hill .. Some great walks with dogs . No Internet, which was nice no distractions

Fairway cottage is lovely. It could maybe do with a bit updating outside as the outside sitting area is a little old . The sofas in the lounge are a little uncomfortable, and the blind in the twin room isnt long enough to fit the window , but in saying this fairway cottage is situated perfectly to get into Westwood ho but also high up and far away Read moreenough to benefit from amazing views from the master bedroom . Lovely cottage, everything that is required for a relaxing holiday. Fantastic view over the bay from the master bedroom. Safe walkable route to the beach, 10 minutes there, a little longer back up the hill. Car parking easier for a smaller car, but then there is no real reason the move it once it is parked up. Had to clean before we unpacked. Upholstery dirty - we had to buy throws to cover so we could sit in comfort. Kitchen cupboard fronts & handles were splashed with food & room doors were dirty from hands pulling doors closed behind them. Bedding was found to be dirty when I stripped the beds as requested - yellow stains on both pillow protectors andRead more duvets. The floors were dirty and no hoover or mop. Overall, the cottage was ideal and well kitted out, being in a perfect location with fantastic views over Westward Ho! Disappointed with general cleanliness of the cottage, including the yard which had unsightly dead brown weeds growing between slabs. BBQ was filthy and thick with burnt on grease. Couldn't gain access to patio table and chairs as gRead morearage key lost. Not enough characters permitted in this feedback to be able to list all issues.
