Lovely 3 storey house, everything you need in the kitchen. Furniture and the beds very comfortable. Nice and clean. Garden very safe for the children.

We chose Estuary View for its close proximity to Appledore Quay with the parking space directly outside. This really is a bonus as we knew parking in the area was an issue. The property is really lovely & homely. It was nicely decorated & well equipped. Its only a short 5 minute walk down the hill to get to the Quay & 20 mins to the far end of ApplRead moreedore. There was only the 2 of us so we had loads of space. We found the downstairs noticeably colder so needed the heating. Would love to return here Hide

Appledore is a lovely place. The property is very well equipped and deceptively spacious. It is in an ideal location, with a parking space next to it, which is extremely helpful. It is only a short walk from the Quay, and within easy walking distance from several good pubs, restaurants and cafes. The owner kindly phoned us on our arrival day to sayRead more that there were signs saying the road of the property was closed but, in fact, we would have no problem driving to the property.. We stay in two or three properties each year and Estuary View is one of the best equipped and most comfortable we have visited. The layout is great, furnishings well thought out, kitchen well stocked, sitting out area a real little sun trap, walk to the sea front just a couple of minutes and a great base for seeing so much of North Devon. We had a superb Christmas and New Year stay in Estuary View cottage. Location is ideal .. a few minutes walk takes you to Appledore quay with its shops and pubs. The layout of the cottage was perfect for families sharing. The beds/sofas were extremely comfortable and the whole cottage was warm and cosy. We would definitely stay here again!

Well equipped property .Brilliant shower .2 parking spaces available. Easy walk to Appledore River front .Lots of stairs but soon got used to and good exercise! Help nearby ( caretaker ) if needed .

Very comfortable and well appointed. The accommodation had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Within easy reach of pubs and restaurants in Appledore, but as with a lot of coastal villages it is quite hilly. Added bonus was the on-site parking space.

We love this house and is my youngest grandchilds favourite place. She is 5 and wants to live there when she grows up. My daughter who is disabled, refused to go to a different cottage as she loves this one so much, it was a struggle for her this year but they are already set for us coming again next year.
