The stylish, four-bedroom property, which welcomes two dogs, is also close to the Northam Burrows Country Park, where there are long walks through sand dunes, and from where you can pick up the South West Coast Path. Enjoy the glorious Devon sunshine from your enclosed garden, take in the sweeping vistas from your balcony and luxuriate in your private hot tub.

Marvel at the upside-down design of this contemporary property, where all four bedrooms are accessed from the airy entrance hall. Two of these have doors on to the patio and two have en-suite shower rooms. A family bathroom with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a snug with TV, are also on this level. Climb the stairs to the spacious, chic kitchen/diner/lounge, which has a vaulted ceiling and provides great space for cooking, dining and watching TV. On warm days, carry your food and cold drinks out on to the impressive balcony. Also indulge in the opportunities for outdoor living in your enclosed garden, where you can BBQ, soak in the hot tub and find a shed for storing outdoor equipment.

While away hours at a time swimming, surfing and playing on the 2-mile expanse of golden sand close to home. Wander along the seafront, pause in the shops and stop for a bit to eat in one of the cafes. Head almost 2 miles into famous Appledore, with its trendy independent outlets and galleries. Take the ferry from here over to Instow to spend time on the beach or go crabbing from the quay.

A group of three generations - eight in all including two children really enjoyed this lovely roomy upside down house with comfy beds and plenty of equipment in the kitchen - not that we cooked there but took advantage of the many good eating places in Westward Ho! A bit of a stroll into the village but quite doable. Given the inclement weather we Read moreall used the hot tub quite a bit. Hide

We loved the house and would rent it again. The nearby beaches are wonderful and an easy walk even for small children. The views across the Golf course are great and the shops within east reach as is the Bus stop. The property is very well equipped and the hot tub is superb

Lovely and comfortable. Very well furnished. Great for a family of 8 adults. When the power failed in two bedrooms the owner acted quickly although an immediate solution was not possible it did not spoil our stay.

6 adults, 2 children, and 1 baby had a very enjoyable stay, property very well equipped and situated for walking onto Westard Ho, it was lovely to watch the waves crashing on the pebbles with the telescope provided.

Sandpiper was a wonderful property in an excellent location. We went as a family of five with grandparents as well and two dogs. There was plenty of space and the specification of the property was excellent for comfort and practicalities. Fantastic views from the top room.

This is a lovely, spacious house in a fabulous setting for two families holidaying together. We appreciated the welcome goodies and flowers. The hot tub was great and we really enjoyed using the telescope with that amazing view. It was an easy, flat walk to the beach and many restaurants in Westward Ho! We would be very happy to stay here again.

Lovely property with fantastic views of the golf course, stretching as far as Saunton Sands. Quiet location in walking distance to the beach which when we went in June was dog friendly on the northern half of the beach.

I cannot fault this house. Wonderful location, incredibly well equipped and spacious. We celebrated my 75th here with family and friends and it was perfect. Children could access the sea, one son-in-law the golf course and friends completed the Devon/Cornwall coastal path. This is our 3nd time in this Great property in an excellent location, easy walk into the centre & beach as well as various supermarkets in a short drive. Great place to stay with family & the dogs & we loved the hot tub. The upside down layout gave great views of the sea & golf. Plenty of options for eating out or takeaway if not wanting to cook.
