The cottage is very quaint but very cluttered. Some visitors may find all the books etc interesting but we just found them overwhelmingly too much. It is ideally situated for touring round North Devon. Parking is an issue but as long as you are happy to pay the weekly charge is not a real problem.

We had a really comfortable and restful stay. It was perfect to have the living area upstairs as we had a nice view. Parking in Appledore is always a game, but we found free nearby parking a two minute walk away. Nearby pub was nice and it was very quiet at night.

A lovely week in gulls cry. The kitchen is well equipped and we really liked the living area upstairs giving great views out to the river estuary, and bedrooms downstairs. Comfortable stay and great fast Wi-Fi. All in all a lovely quirky little house would recommend.

A fantastic February stay in a charming cottage with fantastic location. Its an ideal walk to both the estuary coastal path and the local amenities in Appledore. Its lovely to have the estuary views from the lounge, would be great to have a more modern window there thats bigger as its a selling point of the cottage. Great time in Appledore, the accommodation was spot on for a family of 4 plus a border collie and very clean. Excellent view from the living room. Sometimes had to park on the street further away but the car park eased late evening and we managed to get a space every night.
