Perfectly placed behind Sandringham Gardens footpath just 1 mile’s walk from Paignton Beach, this ground floor property offers a wonderful getaway for guests. Stylish and contemporary, this property occupies the lower ground floor of the owners’ home, but you’ll still have plenty of peace and quiet. Wake up in a restful yet fresh atmosphere, head outside and watch the morning unfold with your morning coffee.

 

Whether you’re strolling around Hollicombe Park (0.5 miles) or spending the morning curled up on the sofa with a book, you’ll find something to keep yourself occupied here. The original parquet flooring in the lounge adds a little rustic charm to a bright and airy room, while a wood burner-effect electric fire makes it cosy and welcoming. The kitchen is fabulously sleek and shiny and the breakfast bar is the perfect spot for a quiet bite in the morning. Suitable for 2 small dogs only.

 

Soak in the glorious seaside views through pretty Devonshire towns with the Dartmouth Steam Railway and Riverboat Company (1.5 miles) where you catch the train to Kingswear, then cross the River Dart on a ferry to a boat for a circular river cruise. Stroll the 460-acre country park at Cockington Court (2.5 miles) and stop in at Torquay to experience the English Riviera from the other side. And for a bit of natural history, head to Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves (3.5 miles) to discover spectacular rock formations.

Very nice well equipped property in a good location. We enjoyed our holiday and the hosts were very friendly.

The property was perfect for our stay and the owners were kind, friendly and attentive to our needs. Location was also good, with local shops 5-10min walk away, and either a slightly longer walk, or a 3min drive to local beaches. Would highly recommend to any wanting to explore Torbay.

The flat is beautifully presented and has everything you need. There are no improvements the owners could make. We had a lovely stay. The only issue we had was road noise.
