Get comfortable beneath characterful, exposed beams, amid rich colours in the welcoming lounge with the electric fire keeping the chill at bay. The kitchen/diner has a different feel with light tones and a bright ambience which is perfect for your chef. Find all you need to cater for hungry guests and enjoy communal meals together at the table before ascending stairs to rest your head. The master king-size bedroom boasts a wonderful, vaulted ceiling with quirky low beams and bags of charm. If you like lazy mornings staying tucked under the covers, this home is perfect for you as each bedroom is treated to a TV.

Make the most of your wonderful, waterside location just half a mile from the bustling harbour or maritime Brixham. Hop on a boat trip, head out on a fishing trip or board the foot ferry to Torquay where you can ride the big wheel for far-reaching views and whet your appetite. Enjoy a beach day at dog-friendly Shoalstone (1.5 miles) where a dip in the tidal pool is a must and you can warm up with a brisk walk to Berry Head National Nature Reserve.

Enjoyed our stay. Bit dark downstairs and no garden at all. Parking is very tight. Very clean interior. Well equipped kitchen. Not far from the harbour and shops. Open staircase so probably not for young children.

A great location and lovely holiday cottage Spacious and comfortable, only 5 of us but definitely accommodates up to 6 people Would like to visit again

quaint cottage and stairs took some getting use to. bedrooms superb with kingsize beds on the 2 doubles. location superb for exploring Brixham and other near by towns, coastal path approx 20mins walk away and other scenic walks near by.

We had a nice stay here, owners were very welcoming and helpful, even when my husband locked us out. Nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to have parking in the middle of Brixham, although the spot is very tight if you have a very big car. Overall the cottage was clean and well equipped. The stairs were a nightmare for me as they are very steeRead morep with no hand rail, and I have mobility issues. Unfortunately the cottage is on a main crossroad in to Brixham, traffic is noisy. Stone Beam Cottage was a lovely holiday home for us, with all the amenities we needed and a location which was perfect, given that the rest of Brixham seems to be on very steep hills. With easy access to the harbour and village, it is also a useful base for further exploration of the rest of Torbay.

Situated on a set of traffic lights .. Would not wish to stay if the weather wasn't good as its very dark. The photos have definitely had the white balance altered , but they do reflect the cottage , its just darker and more gloomy than the photos. Absolutely no where to walk the dog on green spaces in the proximity unless you risk the wrath of theRead more Hospital staff and go on their lawns . Spacious and well equipped, this cottage has everything you need for a short stay break in Brixham. With 4 bedrooms (2 doubles) that sleeps up to six people, it's also great value for money too.
