A lovely, restored country cottage with lots of character with a sunny patio and private fields to the back to picnic or walk your four-legged friends.

Experience a slower pace of life when staying in the Devonshire village of Willand, a chocolate box village with easy access to the Blackdown Hills AONB and the East Devon coast. Decorated throughout with boho interiors, this charming two-storey cottage offers the perfect place for any group to stay. Sleeping five guests and one dog, the property has been lovingly updated to feature comfortable interiors and cosy surroundings that any family or small group of friends can enjoy. Whether you’re settling in front of the wood burner on a cold evening or enjoying summer nights in the garden, this characterful cottage provides a truly remarkable place to stay.

The hub of this house is the spacious kitchen/diner where a generous dining table provides room for all to sit and eat together. The kitchen is on-hand for turning locally sourced goodies into mouth-watering meals, perfect for whether you're dining indoors or alfresco. Step through into the cosy lounge where plenty of comfortable seating options surround a wood burner and smart TV, the ideal spot to recharge before the next adventure-filled day to come. Naturally, you'll need to get a good night's sleep to fully enjoy Devon's wonders and three beautifully laid out bedrooms on the first floor are on hand for rest.

Renowned for its stunning coastline, the vibrant beaches of South Devon are accessible within 20 miles in the car, as is the East Devon Area of Outstanding Naturally Beauty. Visit the Victorian town of Sidmouth (25.5 miles) to appreciate a traditional day at the beach, perhaps stopping off in the city of Exeter for dinner on the route home (18 miles). Afternoons closer to home can be spent in the vast Blackdown Hills AONB (8.5 miles) where quality walking and cycling routes lead to wonderful scenery and far-reaching views.

A very comfortable cosy cottage. Ideal for a few days stay in the area. The attached field is very handy for dog walks night and morning. Our spaniel loved to run in the long grass. Cottage situated in small village with easy access to north and south coasts. Knightshayes N.T. is worth a visit .

Convient and comfortable location for exploring Devon. Lovely place for those of us with a dog with a field to play in and walks on the doorstep. The directions to the cottage in the final email left a bit to be desired. No mention of taking the turning signed to Bradfield and Kentisbeare, next to the Post Office, so we went up and down the length Read moreof Willand a couple of times before phoning for help! Hide

A well-appointed cottage in a sweet village outside Cullompton. A good co-op store a short drive away and a small local shop and a very pretty church.
