Make memories each day whilst exploring Devon and neighbouring Cornwall, spending time getting to know Dartmoor (12.5 miles) or the Hartland Heritage Coast (20 miles) with hikes, bike rides and beach trips. Your nearest towns of Launceston (7 miles) and Holsworthy (9 miles) encourage you to enjoy slower-paced days, exploring the area’s ancient history, shopping in independent shops and stopping off for pub and restaurant visits.

Parquet flooring, bespoke fittings and exceptionally designed bathrooms add to the appeal of this property, all whilst paying homage to the building’s chapel origins with curved windows and high ceilings. Underfloor heating greets you on the ground floor, as does a handy utility room with space to stow boots and coats before relaxing. The living room is exceptional with plush sofas, a large Smart TV and an electric fireplace to curl up in front of. Elsewhere, four incredible bedrooms are laid out on the first floor, two with the added versatility of zip-and-link beds. Not far from home explore Roadford Lake (4 miles), a pretty destination allowing for waterfront walks. It also has an activity centre where you can rent a kayak, canoe and paddleboard or try your hand at archery, high ropes and climbing. The fun doesn’t stop there, with the Dartmoor National Park a little further along with a never-ending offering of hike and biking routes through its magnificent countryside scenery. Head towards the beautiful National Trust area of Lydford Gorge (12.5 miles) to admire its spectacular 30m waterfall.

Fantastic newly renovated chapel. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very quiet and peaceful, with amazing views. Well placed for visiting Devon and Cornwall. Owners live nearby but not intrusive.

This was an amazing property. Exactly what it looked like. The kitchen had plenty of equipment. It was definitely a luxury stay. The beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was amazing. It was in a good position to explore both Devon and Cornwall. The Villiage inn pub about 5-10 minute drive had delicious food. We had 4 adults and 4 children andRead more it still felt spacious.
