This stylish one-bedroom ground-floor apartment in Seaton is a wonderfully romantic retreat for couples. Located just 350 metres from the beach, it boasts a private courtyard garden and is situated close to shops and restaurants if you fancy dining out during your stay. After a day on the sand, nothing beats curling up in the open-plan living space in front of a film or resting your head in the relaxing king-size bedroom.

Enter the apartment via a shared hall and discover an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room, featuring a warm oak floor and a delightful bay window. The inviting lounge area contains a TV for watching your favourite shows, and the kitchen/diner provides ample space to prepare a delicious dinner for two, which you can enjoy around the table. When night falls, a king-size bedroom awaits, with a comfortable bed ready for a well-deserved rest, and an en-suite shower room for morning soaks. The apartment also offers a private courtyard garden – ideal for lazing on sunny days.

For those wanting to get a closer look at the area, the South West Coast Path offers an unrivalled experience. Stretching along the coast, this incredible walking trail provides exceptional views, with the chance of spotting seals, dolphins and birds. For a more vibrant atmosphere, Lyme Regis (7.5 miles) is a great day trip. Known as 'The Pearl of Dorset', this beautiful town is packed with quaint shops, boutiques and galleries. Of course, if it’s the beach you’re after, the seaside town is home to numerous stunning beaches, too.

Great location near to the front. Property inside just as shown in the pictures. We were very comfortable.

We have stayed in A LOT of self-catering cottages over the years and have never been as satisfied or impressed with the attention to detail than at Sovereign. It was only 2 main rooms but they were of good size and were very well laid out; the kitchen was well equipped with the essentials without being overstocked (including sharp knives - we alwRead moreays take our own and they were not needed!), there were also a few provisions (oil, s&p, tissues, cling film, foil, enough dishwasher tablets/washing up liquid, and some comp biscuits!), and a whole empty cupboard to put our own food in which is so often overlooked, it also has a full size fridge freezer which again is not often thought about by many places which just sleep 2, the ice cube trays were also full which meant we were able to have a lovely cold G&T on arrival. Everything was were you thought it should be and well laid out. Shoe racks and coat hooks too. Bed was super comfy, as were the pillows and a lovely squidgy warm duvet - with spare blankets if needed. Only downside (sorry, there has to be something!) was the 'bedside lights' being spotlights - these didn't work for us as not calming and quite bright so would suggest angle-poised bedside table lights. Plenty of clothes space and hangers. Shower was lovely - rainfall head could be angled, and the water temp was great and on demand which helped me to warm up after a paddle board and swim (no wetsuit!). Great location - Seaton was a lovely little seaside town with enough things 'going for it'. A lot of restaurants were closed on the Sunday as 'out of season' but we managed to get a take away pizza from the kebab shop which was REALLY tasty. Great brunch from Coast too - would recommend. Car park was a little further away than we thought it would be (5mins not 2) and it took a bit of thinking to find the cottage, but not a big deal. I quite liked not having the car staring at us, it meant we explored more locally which we might not have done otherwise. We did the tram which was excellent fun, bimbled in the shops in Seaton, did Sidmouth with a local friend, spent time on the beaches, did Beer - all very lovely. We were pleased to notice that customer feedback had been listened to - there is now a full length mirror. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area. Hide

good lay out in a good location. Bit of a pain to find, best to park on Aldi car park against the far wall and walk up the ally by the gym / le pisani at the end look immediately left brown door small sign saying counting house. Don't forget the * at the end od the door code number. Key safe inside slide black cover down and input the number.

The accomadation is first rate. The only disadvantage is its location as it was very difficult to find and you have to leave your car in a public car park. Due to going out of season a lot of local pubs and cafes were closed or not providing full services, so something to consider.

Sovereign is a beautiful apartment in the centre of Seaton surrounded by shops, places to eat and a very short walk to the sea. The apartment was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable and the shower was powerful with lots of hot water. With the added benefit of a small closed-in garden, its a perfect place for a very good holiday.

A well presented property in a great location. Nice neutral decoration with a good size bedroom and nice shower room. Kitchen was well equipped. Directions and details on finding and accessing the property were very good and the communication was good. The staff in the local pubs were very friendly and all those we visited were dog friendly, wiRead moreth our dog getting quite a few biscuits! Just to add for those travelling with pets our dog struggled on the stones in the courtyard so we needed to walk to the top of the town for some grass (note two of the parks don't allow dogs and the beach is pebble although dogs are allowed). Perfect location for everything that Seaton has to offer, supermarkets on your doorstep, plenty of cafes & coffee shops, pubs & restaurants all within walking distance, beach about a minute away. The property itself was perfect for two people, had everything we needed, a full length mirror in the bedroom would be beneficial and signage on the exteRead morerior door off the communal hallway to show where Sovereign was would be helpful. Perfect location in Seaton, drop off was fine & no problem getting parking with permit. Private location, perfect ground floor apartment for our dog. Spacious & well equipment. Owner replies to any queries, we would definitely stay again!

We had a fab week at this property. Luxurious bathroom, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and relaxing living area. The enclosed garden was perfect for our four-legged friend. Location is also worth a mention with pubs, restaurants, shops, cafes and the beach all within a very short walk. We will be returning.

Lovely modern feel to the property which was well equipped. The bed was super comfy. Great central location so shops, restaurants and the beach/coastal path were all within walking distance.
