Nature lovers must make the 5.5-mile journey to Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary to meet its adorable residents. For a different type of experience, explore the Jurassic Coast with a cruise from Exmouth, only 20 miles away. For a change of scenery, head to the city of Exeter, 22 miles away, and explore its cathedral, shops, bars and restaurants. Or simply lay down a picnic blanket and soak up the sunshine together on the local beach, which is just 400 metres away.

Everything at the property was good. The only thing I noticed was that the kitchen sink was a bit whiffy, and needed some drain cleaner. I did find it quite tiring on arrival, taking all my luggage, bedding and food upstairs. In future I will look for a downstairs flat.
