We have had a very pleasant short stay at the Upside Down Cottage in Colyton. Colyton is a fascinating town with an enormous and amazing looking church which sadly we just couldnt find the time to go inside but a local lady told us a bit of the history which sounded very interesting. The cottage was lovely with views to match and the owner had provRead moreided everything we needed including a beautiful vase of roses, wine and some gorgeous biscuits. We met the owner briefly when we arrived and she was very helpful and kind. It is an easy drive to the nearby sea side towns and the shops and pubs in Colyton are all within easy walking through lovely winding streets. I hope we will be able to go back there again. Thank you to the booking company who were spot on with information and reminders, and to the owner for letting out this sweet little cottage. Hide

Lovely comfortable cottage in a great town with two good pubs and a fish and chip shop! We had a lovely short break, excellent location, close to Lyme Regis and Beer. Hope to return again in the future.

This cosy Upside down cottage was extremely warm and welcoming. In an excellent location we were near to Sidmouth, Seaton, Beer, Lyme Regis and the lovely Donkey Sanctuary. Found it a struggle for such a late check in and 9.am check out, as my husband has health issues which means an early start isn't good for him, so we ended up leaving the afterRead morenoon before to avoid any complications. Loved the flowers, wine biscuits and milk so much appreciated. There was no washing tablets so we couldn't use the washing machine and the dining room chairs were very lumpy, but we used cushions. All in all a lovely break in a beautiful village, which is quiet and peaceful. Hide
