This beautiful barn nestles in the hamlet of ford, along the North Devon coastline. Less than a mile onto the A39 means you are within easy reach of some of the area’s top coastal spots, including an array of golden sands and turquoise waters. Walking enthusiasts are well catered for with wonderful walking routes from your doorstep as well as the Southwest coast path accessible close by, allowing you to enjoy the crackle of twigs beneath your feet before retreating to the hot tub at the end of the day. Visit the pretty fishing villages of Appledore (6 miles) and Clovelly (8 miles) where you will find a lovely choice of local shops and fine eateries to suit all tastes. For a slightly livelier atmosphere, the well renowned Westward Ho! is certainly worth a visit just 4 miles away, with its beautiful sandy beach stretching 1.5 miles long, as well as amusements and further fine eateries to enjoy.

Stepping inside this stunning escape you will first find yourself in a beautifully light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with beautiful exposed beams overhead, really showcasing the blend of original and contemporary features within the home. This fabulously sociable room boasts a contemporary look with an incredibly cosy corner sofa, as well as an additional armchair and Smart TV allowing you to relax in style whilst watching your favourite films after a day of adventures. The dining space provides the perfect venue for laid-back meals whilst the well-appointed kitchen combined with additional utility space next door provides all the appliances needed and more for a stress-free stay. Moving on through the home you will find the bedroom which hosts a king-size bed and ample clothing space, with an en-suite shower room fitted with a waterfall shower and WC.

Making your way outside from the lounge space, or driveway will take you to large enclosed patio space, fitted with your very own wood-fired hot tub. The perfect spot to relax and watch those Devon sunsets across the rolling fields. In addition to this there is also comfortable outdoor seating as well as a dining space, allowing you to wine, dine and share those best moments of the holiday.

Very lovely short break away! The property is very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It caters well for dogs and the hot tub was an added bonus!

Perfect property to rent. A huge stunning cottage with no expense spared! Excellent for dogs with a secure slabbed garden area. Everything you need and more! Everything is catered for and the owners are very polite and welcoming. Excellent location, the Thatched Inn and Westleigh pub are excellent on food! Will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. The facilities were great, especially the wood fired hot tub. The complimentary goodies were much appreciated and the hosts made us feel very welcome.

The location was lovely looking out on to fields very relaxing. The property was excellent everything catered for. Very clean and comfortable. The owners were lovely. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend this property. Plenty of nice places to visit in North Devon.

Amazing property with everything you could need, in a great location. We were greeted on arrival by the lovely hosts who were on hand if needed. Secure outdoor area for our dog to relax, very peaceful with countryside views. Would definitely stay again.
