Enjoy a bucket-and-spade day at the seaside at Westward Ho! (1.5 miles), which boasts a 2-mile stretch of golden sand perfect for sandcastles and a great place to access the South West Coast Path. Venture 2 miles inland to the riverport town of Bideford to stroll along the quaint quayside before boarding a boat trip out to Lundy Island to explore this unique spot renowned for its puffins.
