An enchanting rural retreat just for two, this magical property is ideal for anyone who wants to relax in nature. Head out on walks from your front door, explore Dartmoor National Park, fish in the lake or simply sit on your veranda and enjoy the tranquil views.

Head up the external stairs to find the front door to this quirky cottage. Inside, the circular space features atmospheric original beams in its high ceiling, plus a wooden floor and pale walls. You''ll find everything you need for a comfortable getaway. There''s a kitchen area with a cooker, a fridge, a microwave and a dishwasher, a dining table for two, and a comfortable sofa and Smart TV for streaming your favourite shows. Finally, also within the room itself is a double bed with a chest of drawers for clothes storage. Separated from this living/cooking/dining/sleeping space is the sweet shower room. When you feel like some fresh air, step out onto the decked balcony and admire the views over the grounds and the fishing lake, which is stocked with carp, bream, tench and perch. You may also make the most of a shared, covered BBQ area on the banks of the lake, or wander through the wildlife meadows planted throughout the grounds.

If you can tear yourself away from the excellent fishing on site, explore the natural wonders of Dartmoor, just 5 miles away, including the impressive 30-metre high waterfall at Lydford Gorge, 6.5 miles away. The National Trust''s Finch Foundry, England''s last working water-powered forge, is 12.5 miles away, while the woodland gardens of Stone Lane Gardens are 18.5 miles away. For a different day out, head to the historic market towns of Tavistock and Launceston, both within 14 miles, where you''ll find a variety of lovely shops and places to eat.

The Round House is set in an ideal rural position with a lovely outlook. The peace and serenity make it a very relaxed place to stay.

Round House is in a lovely scenic location, with 3 other properties, very quiet and peaceful, nice for a short stay. Dog friendly. Great Smart TV.
