For those looking to explore further, the idyllic cliffside village of Clovelly, with its steep cobbled streets leading to the harbour, is just 17 miles away.

Stepping inside this detached stunning escape, which is one of three single-floor cottages on site, you will first find yourself in a beautifully light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with high ceilings and exposed beams above the windows, really showcasing the blend of original and contemporary features within the home. This fabulously sociable room boasts a contemporary look with a cosy sofa, as well as an accompanying armchair and TV, allowing you to relax in style whilst watching your favourite films after a day of treks across the Devon countryside. There’s even a rocking horse for the little ones! The dining space provides the perfect venue for laid-back meals, whilst the well-appointed kitchen provides all the appliances needed and more for a stress-free stay. Moving on through the home, you will find the two bedrooms which host a king-size bed and a set of twin beds between them. Completing the property is the family bathroom, featuring a whirlpool bath and separate shower to soak, refresh and renew after your adventures.

At the front of the cottage, you'll be able to enjoy a private and fully enclosed garden with lawn, patio and outdoor seating for all. You also have direct access to a well-kept, shared garden. An ideal space for all the children to play together. That however is just the start of this stunning countryside escape. You are also free to enjoy the multitude of family attractions on site, including animal enclosures where you can meet alpacas, a miniature donkey, pygmy goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and even a goose, alongside enjoying the gnome garden, indoor and outdoor play areas, fairy walk, stream and woodland paths. Meet the owners each morning for the daily animal feed, egg collecting and tractor ride. There is a total of 8 acres to explore so you can experience the glorious wildlife on offer.
