A stylish retreat in the charming village of Bishop’s Tawton, this exquisite Mews House offers a luxurious North Devon stay. Sleeping six guests, the impressive, three-storey hideaway encompasses three bedrooms and has a lovely garden where you can relax in the sunshine and soak up the views. Codden Hill is on your doorstep with stunning walks, ideal for hikers and Mountain bikers alike. Welcoming four-legged friends, the property is 2.5 miles from vibrant Barnstaple, with its array of independent shops, market stalls and eateries. It is just 8 miles from the sandy beach at Instow, where you can catch a ferry across to picture-postcard Appledore in the high season. The long, golden beach at Westward Ho!, where you can swim, surf and picnic, is 11 miles from the cottage, while beautiful Saunton Sands is 10 miles away. Pick up the South West Coast Path in either direction to take in the magnificent views. Keen walkers might like to attempt the 14-mile section between Westward Ho! and Clovelly.

Make your way into the cottage at ground-floor level and head through to the chic kitchen/diner. With swathes of exposed stone and brickwork and hardwood flooring, this gorgeous space exudes both style and practicality. Special touches here include the likes of a wine fridge to keep your bottles cool and an air fryer to ensure your every taste can be catered for. Prepare delicious meals then sip a glass of chilled fizz up at the breakfast bar before serving your Devon feast at the dining table. Open the doors to the garden on sunny days to create seamless indoor/outdoor living. Also, downstairs is a family shower room and one of your beautiful bedrooms. This has zip-and-link beds and can be made up as a super-king-size or a twin by prior arrangement. The lovely lounge is up on the first floor to ensure you make the most of the far-reaching, picturesque views during your stay. With more exposed brickwork and another wooden floor, this chic space features opulent, caramel leather seating and a Smart TV where you can stream your favourite shows. A truly special bedroom, with a king-size, four-poster bed, and another family shower room are also at this level. Head on up to the second floor to discover your enticing final bedroom, another king-size with beautiful, countryside views. A luxurious family bathroom, with a freestanding bath, is also on this floor.

Step out through the French doors to enjoy the outside space at this cottage. Dine on the deck and watch the children play. Grill fresh produce on the BBQ, and gather round as the sun goes down. There is private parking for two cars at this property.
