The property has a central location, providing easy access to the town’s plethora of independent shops and eateries. Head down to the historic harbour (400 metres) to watch the boats coming and going or join one of the excursions to the wildlife haven of Lundy Island. Ilfracombe has secluded beaches, including the beautiful Tunnels Beaches known for its hand-carved tunnels and Victorian tidal pool. The South West Coast Path passes through Ilfracombe, offering clifftop walking routes with far-reaching sea views. The edge of Exmoor National Park, the walkers’ paradise is 2 miles away. Within easy reach are the popular resorts of Woolacombe (6.5 miles) and Croyde (10 miles). There are family attractions nearby, including Exmoor Zoo (15 miles) and Watermouth Castle (3 miles).
The spacious holiday home is set across three floors and is decorated in a contemporary style whilst retaining some charming original features. Inside, you’ll be welcomed into the entrance hall, with its beautiful tiled floor, before moving into the heart of the home. After a day of exploring, unwind in the cosy lounge/diner, where comfortable seating is set around an ornamental fireplace and a Smart TV. You’ll also find a large dining table and a collection of books, games, and puzzles for your entertainment. The separate kitchen is equipped with everything needed to rustle up hearty breakfasts and delicious feasts for the group. Heading upstairs, discover a gorgeous family bathroom with a free-standing bath, along with a twin bedroom and a double bedroom with a four-poster bed. There is also a handy, separate WC on the half landing (as there is no WC in the bathroom). Upstairs, on the top floor, two further bedrooms await. Choose from a super-king-size that can be made up as twin beds if required, or a master double bedroom with an en-suite shower room.
Outside, to the rear of the property, is a courtyard with a bistro table and chairs for enjoying al fresco drinks in summer months. There’s also a handy drying rack for wetsuits and outdoor attire. Private parking is available for one car, with additional on-street parking nearby, subject to availability.
