This wonderful cottage, perched next door to the owner’s farmhouse, nestled amidst rolling hills and picturesque landscapes, with a fantastic local pub down the road. In the opposite direction, take time to enjoy all the amenities at the fabulous Mole Resort to fill a day with family fun. This home is surrounded by wildlife offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Explore the nearby Tarka Trail, perfect for leisurely walks and bike rides. You are also within 16 miles of the sun-kissed beaches and turquoise waters of the North Devon coast, including Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, and Woolacombe. The national parks of Dartmoor (27 miles) and Exmoor (12 miles) host challenging treks amongst natural beauty. Finally, drift further afield for a day at the cathedral city of Exeter (30 miles) hosting a wide choice of shops for some retail therapy, accessible both by car or train from Umberleigh Station.

Stepping into the cottage will bring you directly into the kitchen where you have all the appliances needed for a stress-free stay, whilst there is also a breakfast table to provide the ideal spot for a morning cuppa, to aid in planning the day’s adventures ahead. Moving through the cottage will bring you through the hallway and into a beautifully open-plan lounge/diner. This space features plenty of seating for all guests to revel in the warmth of the wood burner, particularly on those chillier evenings. There are board games aplenty alongside ample space to enjoy them, including the dining table with space for all guests. Completing the downstairs is a WC. When the night draws in, head upstairs to your choice of two bedrooms, one with a king-size sleigh bed, and the other with two single beds. Both bedrooms provide plenty of wardrobe space. Completing the interior is the family bathroom to have a soak after a busy day or to start the day afresh.

Stepping outside, guests have their own courtyard space, a perfect south-facing sun trap with comfortable outdoor seating for relaxing or dining alfresco using the charcoal BBQ provided. There is parking available for 2 cars.
