This is a surprising property.  It is beautifully appointed with laminate flooring on the ground floor and carpets on the top floor. It is spacious and cosy at the same time with a lovely gas log-burner for those cooler evenings and a garden to the rear for warmer times. The kitchen is large and well equipped with access to the garden. It is close to a family-run pub, The King’s Arms, which is well known for their delicious home cooked food. Harmony Cottage is within walking distance of the seaside, shops and the Jurassic Coast Centre.  A must to visit.

Location: Situated on the edge of the up-and-coming town of Seaton, within easy reach of the beach (approximately 10 minutes walk).  There are local shops with good bakeries and butchers, plus two supermarkets, all within an easy walk.
Accommodation:  Entrance into a small lobby with hanging space for coats and a shoe stand for outdoor wear.  A second doorway opens into the sitting room.  The pretty sitting room has a window seat, two 2-seater sofas, and a gas log-burner fire, surrounded with stone:  all very comfortable to curl up and watch the flames or the Smart TV and also a DVD player. The whole of the ground floor has wood laminate flooring. The stairs are at the end of the room with a cupboard below housing the vacuum cleaner etc. There is a console table with a stool near the stone wall.
Up two steps into the large ‘L’ shaped kitchen with light wood laminate worktops and white fronted cupboards above and below. The boiler is housed in a cupboard with easy access. The equipment comprises of a washing machine, larder fridge, small chest freezer, gas hob with four burners and two ovens below, microwave, blender, toaster and kettle. There is a table with four chairs. Door to pretty courtyard garden with arbour seat and additional table, chairs and parasol - perfect for dining al fresco.
Door to the modern bathroom.  A spacious room with a bath, over-bath shower, surrounded with a shower curtain, and WC.

Please note that the stairs are fairly steep but it does have two securely fitted hand rails from top to bottom.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with fully fitted carpets:
The double bedroom at the front of the property has a window seat which overlooks the countryside beyond. A double pine bed with matching bedside tables and lamps. Pine wardrobe, chest of drawers, hair dryer and an occasional chair.

The second bedroom is a single with light pine bed and matching bedside table and lamp and wardrobe with drawers below.

The whole of the property is furnished to a high standard with excellent soft furnishings.
Outside:  As mentioned Harmony Cottage has a private garden with table, chairs, parasol and a new garden room. Ideal for al fresco dining. There is parking for one car at the front of the property.
Facilities:  Parking for one car. Saturday changeover. WiFi.

Restrictions:  No pets. No smoking inside the property. No children under the age of 6 due to steep stairs to bedrooms.

A beautiful comfortable cottage within short walking distance to the town and amenities. Pub across the road from the cottage. Had everything that we needed for our holiday stay with its own parking. Would definitely recommend for a lovely holiday.

Mr P,

We had a fantastic time in this cosy cottage. It was in a brilliant location handy for everything. We walked everywhere and loved the area.

Ms B,

Excellent position for exploring the area. Bus service to other towns excellent. Shame about the weather but we found lots to do in the rain, shopping in Sidmouth and Exeter.

Mr H,

Harmony cottage was warm and welcoming. A little basket of Goodies jam, apple juice, bread, milk and chocolate was so lovely to find after a long drive. Cottage was spotlessly clean. The linen and towels were lovely. The beds were super comfortable. Really easy to walk into the town and beach. We throughly enjoyed our our week and hope to make a return trip x

Mrs M,
