Description

A delightful semi-detached cottage situated alongside the River Axe on the site of a former mill, Weycroft. On the outskirts of the market town of Axminster, Lyme Regis is a short drive away. Discover the Jurassic Coast and enjoy a host of activities from fossil hunting, coastal walks and fishing trips. In the opposite direction, visit the Seaton Wetlands and Tramway before heading to the quaint fishing village of Beer.

Location: Just outside the market town of Axminster with local walks from the door and within 5 miles of the coast and beach at Lyme Regis.

Accommodation: Entrance hall with stairs to 1st floor. Kitchen with door to the outside, table and chairs seating 4 people, electric hob and oven, washing machine, fridge, freezer and microwave. Lounge  TV, two sofas, foot stool, side table and feature stone wall. Ground Floor Bathroom Bath, shower cubicle, WC and handbasin First Floor : Bedroom 1 with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, feature stone wall, easy chair with Ensuite Shower Room Shower cubicle, basin and WC. Bedroom 2 has twin single beds, chest of drawers and wardrobe. 

Outside: Mainly laid to lawn with a small decked area. Garden Bench. Table and chairs with parasol. Over looking Weycroft Bridge and a stream.

Restrictions: Allocated parking for one car to the side of the cottage. No other parking on site is available.

Facilities: All fuel is included in the rental. Gas central heating. WiFi.

Linen and Towels included.
Travel cot, High Chair, Iron and ironing. No pets allowed.

 

Reviews

We were very impressed with Willows Cottage. It was perfect for us as grandparents with our granddaughter, as we were able to quickly get to all the lovely beaches as well as other child-centred activities in the area, but then be able to enjoy a relaxing evening slightly out of the way, in nature next to the river. The cottage itself was a really comfortable and well-presented, and the beds helped us all get a really good night’s sleep every time. Parking and access was very easy. Thank you so much for helping us have a really memorable stay in East Devon.
