We found our stay at Byron Cottage very quiet, relaxing and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpfull, the property is well situated for the local beaches and shops. We enjoyed the grounds to the cottage and the views and I am sure we will be returning to see how the hidden garden is progressing!
Lovely cottage in a great location - it's easy to reach the scenic coastline in East Devon and West Dorset by car from this cottage. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful owners. The cottage had all the facilities we wanted - dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, etc. Only problem was that the wi-fi signal was too weak to use except in the living room, but the owners said that they are planning to fix this soon.
Location of cottage very good for easy access to the major coastal towns, country walks from cottage good with owners happy for you to enjoy their land, walking boots essential. Good shopping in Axminster but we didn't try any local dining/pub facilities. Poor mobile signal on Vodafone and slow WIFI rather a drawback.
