Chart Cottage has been tastefully redecorated and had a new kitchen in late 2016. All of the bedrooms have modern ensuite bathrooms.
Chart Cottage was built at the start of Queen Victoria's reign in the 1830's as the headmasters accommodation of the village school. It is now owned by the Rattenbury family who are direct descendants of the famous Beer smuggler, Jack Rattenbury.
Location: Centrally located, just a few minutes walk to the sea front.
Lounge The lounge has retained its period character with beamed ceilings and a stone inglenook fireplace and electric log effect stove. There is a cosy sitting area with two settees facing a wide screen TV with DVD player.
Kitchen Off the Lounge/Dining Area there is a spacious kitchen with double oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Stairs to:
Master Bedroom With King size bed, walk in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and low level toilet.
Bedroom Two Twin bedroom with two 2' 6" beds and fitted wardrobe. Ensuite WC and shower, wash hand basin and low level toilet. Further stairs to:
Bedroom Three Double bedroom with king size bed and fitted wardrobe, convertible to two singles. Full ensuite bathroom with shower and low level toilet.
The paved courtyard to the front of the property is a sunny spot to sit and enjoy some al fresco dining. With table and six chairs.
Free Off street parking for one car 35 yards away and additional free parking for a second car 150 yards away with our car parking permit.
Facilities: All linen and towels included. Please note beach towels are not included. WiFi available. Parking and pets welcome.
