Stayed Christmas 2019. Downstairs - modern and clean. Works well for a family. Enough space and the log burner is a nice feature. Good to have an allocated parking space if required. Nice position - easy to walk into village. Mostly well equipped and a pretty property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Causeway Cottage. It provided us with the perfect base for our holiday. Great communal space downstairs and little courtyard garden, which was a perfect spot for breakfast and evening meals. The outside shower room was a great addition to our stay. We would definitely return.
It was lovely to find the cream tea and wine etc. A lovely welcome that was much appreciated. Overall a lovely cottage that was a good size and well equipped. Lovely enclosed courtyard and good position. We hope to return.
We really enjoyed our stay at Causeway Cottage. We thought the cottage was really lovely and the kitchen is very well equipped with all we needed. We really appreciated all the wood that was left for us to use for the wood burner and a wonderful surprise and really nice touch of wine and delicious scones as a welcome upon our arrival.
