Enjoying a convenient spot above a family bistro in the picturesque village of Beer in Devon, this home provides the perfect base for small families or groups of friends to explore the historic and natural delights of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. It boasts mesmerising views of the white chalk cliffs that line the coastline, while a short 400-metre walk takes you down to the shingle beach that is home to fishing boats that bring in their daily catch of the region’s delicious mackerel.

Head through the private entrance and up the stairs to the first floor and you’ll find a spacious and light living space. The beautiful lounge is perfect for family gatherings and opens out onto a sunny balcony where you can relax with a cool drink and enjoy views of the sea in the distance. Just off the lounge is a stylish oak kitchen/breakfast room where you can cook up some delicious meals. There is also a family bathroom with a separate WC on this floor. Ascend to the second floor, and you’ll find three wonderful bedrooms; a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom with views of the church, and a twin bedroom with views of the church and village.

Great place to stay, well equipped, clean and tidy. Great walks to Branscombe Lyme Regis (about 10 miles) Honiton seems a bit run down but Budleigh Salterton seems to have picked up. Had a great meal at the Masons Arms, Branscombe and an excellent cream tea at The Old Teahouse in Branscombe and can park for a donation at the village hall. A suggesRead moretion for the flat would be hanging door hooks in the bedroom & bathroom, but its not that important!. Ate at the Ducky's it was just OK Hide

On-off weather- deplorable, then lovely. Found the Mill area in Lyme, and the costal path via the Donkeys. Smugglers good and Blue Ball in Sidford (I remember when it burnt down) Thank you for this lovely place to base ourselves- very comfortable and central to all Beer's delights. It was a shame about the weather.
