No compromises are needed at this bright and airy two-bed apartment in a cliff-top Seaton location. It ticks a lot of boxes: sea views, on-site parking, versatile accommodation on one level, walkable to the beach and town, and yet plenty of peace and quiet. The high ceilings and lovely windows lend this lofty apartment a really calm and restorative air. Outside is the same with lovely sea views from the charming, secluded garden. It makes an ideal base for one or two couples or a small family to enjoy this seaside town but also discover more of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including the awe-inspiring Jurassic Coast.

This elegant apartment is a practical and well-appointed holiday escape. Leave shoes and coats in the porch, then head into the living space comprising an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. You won’t tire of the fab sea views from the dining table in the bay window. Otherwise, hang out together on the sofa seating in the lounge or take your turn in the contemporary kitchen that’s well-equipped for self-catering missions. There’s even a small conservatory, perfect on rainy days or during cooler months. One charming double and a lovely twin bedroom comprise the sleeping quarters, both offering high ceilings. Breathe in the sea air on your very own furnished patio, with lots of plants and those unforgettable views.

Seaton has lots to offer with its long shingle beach with beach huts on one end and Axmouth Harbour on the other. If the pebbles get too much, follow the raised Esplanade or head out along the picturesque South West Coast Path to the pretty village of Beer (2 miles). You could also sightsee with a difference aboard a heritage-style tram, through the town to the village of Colyton and back.

As a base for a long weekend in Seaton, this was very good. Within walking distance of town centre (noting hills) and was comfortable and well presented. The conservatory is a lovely place to sit reading and listening to the birds in the garden.

We've been staying at Seaview every spring for many, many years. It suits our needs very well, great location, wonderful view of the sea whilst having breakfast at the table in the bay window. It is comfortable, and homely. Just a little reluctant to let too many people know how nice it is!
