Amazing location with fantastic views, right on the doorstep for all Lynmouth's activities. Liked the upside down layout to make the most of the views, especially from the top balcony. Great facilities with dish washer, washing machine etc. Ideal for families and pet friendly too. Just be aware of steep access to property for anyone with mobility Read moreissues and the carpark is near, but further down the road. Loved Lynmouth and Lynton, lots to do, great shops, pubs and eateries all on the doorstep, apart from groceries, which have to be purchased from Lynton or further afield. So just ensure you have the basics when you arrive as shop shuts at 7pm. Great transport links as bus park is across the road. Would recommend and hope to return. Hide

The property is in need of some refreshing as it looke well used, dirty and tired. We had to contact the house keeper as the bath was visibly dirty and faeces running down the outside of a toilet.

Sadly, let down by cleanliness, windows visibly dirty in particular both balcony windows, spoiling view, dust layers on furniture ie kitchen stools, wooden trunk. Shower tray in top bathroom blocked- water filled to top of shower tray. Stains on carpet on first set of stairs All of this makes one think how thorough the clean is which is sad as flatRead more lovely. Balcony lights not working. Hide

Toaster was a bit tired as it didn't cook evenly and the oven, when used for 10 minutes, stank the rooms out as it needed a good clean. No Nespresso machine. We didn't feel the wood burner was safe to use as the door was extremely tight and appeared to be missing a door catch which was shown on the manufacturers website. The arm chairs were a littlRead moree tired and uncomfortable. The 2nd floor bedroom handle was loose and came off easily but was fiddly to put back. This could have been dangerous in an emergency. The main bin outside the property was full on arrival, with no collection until after we departed. With work-around of these issues, we did have a pleasant stay. The property could be exceptional but lacks some TLC, and this lets it down. Hide
